Law and Order: The Animation by ayarane
Law and Order: The Animation
A speculative painting about what would happen if Law and Order got rebooted as anime. Sure, there's the Ace Attorney series, You're Under Arrest and Paranoia Agent, but why NOT Law and Order? (Specifically, SVU because I like it, though this includes Original's Jack McCoy because he is just that AWESOME, enough to stick his fingers in a couple of SVU episodes.)

...except I think I cranked up the "attention to detail" a bit too much than is standard for my pseudo-anime methods, ahaha.

Still! How cool would it be? It's not like Japan hasn't imported and adapted our media into manga and anime before. (Star Wars, for one thing.) I know they air at LEAST the Original series in some form.

Bulldogs 3: Louie by ayarane
Bulldogs 3: Louie
In the past, I didn't think myself capable of drawing/painting dogs. Having recently painted a cockateel, and having taken a break after finishing a mess of Gourmet Ramen commissions, I decided to take a crack at painting my mother's three bulldogs. I've found that I can do animals so as long as I skip the line art phase and just drybrush the whole thing, because animals just do not lend themselves well to the solid linework that's a staple of my normal methods.

This is Louie, who's energetic but anxious, and has an ear-piercing bark. No, really, EAR-PIERCING. His woof is sometimes painful depending on the room's acoustics.

This is BabyGirl, and as you roll your eyes at the sheer pretentiousness of her name, everything you may suspect about her is true. She's spoiled, noisy and chases cats at every opportunity. She's a real juggernaut when she's in the heat of the chase, capable of tackling down baby gates if that's what it takes.

This is Wilson, a rather mellow pooch and probably the only one of the three I may possibly kinda-sorta-like.
